Twenty years of acting and studying performance has given me the ability to transform superior performance techniques to business professionals from all fields. I received my Masters degree in acting from The National Theater Conservatory at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and graduated from Middlebury College. I received my coaching training from WholeSpeak in Berkeley California.

I began doing this work because, as a college student, I was terrified to even raise my hand in class, let alone voice a challenging opinion. I was paralyzed by fear, and I let it get in my way of my achievements and of the opportunity to enjoy being seen and heard.

Now, every year in January I teach a month-long, intensive course at Middlebury College, my alma mater. I teach students how to stand up in front of an audience and speak their mind without fear and with a presence of calm and confidence. It is so gratifying for me to give the students the tools that I didn't have when I was in their position. As I see students breathe deeper, stand up straighter, and begin to look each other in the eye during my course, I know that I am gently but powerfully changing their lives.

I have also had a long road of personal development. My parents gave me the greatest life gift by enrolling me in personal growth workshops at Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California when I was 18. From there I studied Dream work, Theta Healing, Rosen Method, Coaching, The Enneagram, Psychodrama, Self expression and Gestalt Therapy for the next twenty years.

In my public speaking and communication coaching, I blend my two passions of performance and personal development to bring you a wholistic communication coaching journey.

As you know, communication is everything. Whether you are a entrepreneur pitching an idea for a startup, a lawyer seeking to communicate confidence, a director looking to move to the next level, or a founder speaking from the stage, public speaking training can help you achieve your goals of communicating your best self.

One of my key differentiators as a communication coach is my acting background. When people hear I am an “actor” they often think of “Hollywood” “superficial” and “gimicky.” What most people don’t know is that, in order to be a great actor, you have to know yourself at a deep level. Only then can you authentically create a character. I teach you the tools and techniques of an actor so you can know yourself better, and shift your communication style in a way that is deeply authentic.

Within our first few sessions you will see (and feel) dramatic results. Our sessions are powerful, effective, actionable and fun. I am absolutely passionate about what I do and cannot wait to support you to rise to your communication potential.

Thank you for reading and I look forward to beginning our journey together!
